This is an unusual little pendant stone that was called "Azurite in Malachite." Both contain copper and are chemically related, and in the earth, Azurite does often change into Malachite. It also looks like it could be Chrysocola, or even Turquoise in some sort of matrix, but I don't know exactly. The beads are made of little cubes of a Malachite/Azurite combo, as well as big spheres of Turquoise and Malachite. The pendant is 1¾" (including bail) and the necklace is 19".

For those who are interested in Astrological significances of stones, Turquoise corresponds with Sagittarius and Taurus, and is the birthstone for December.

All findings, settings and silver beads are solid .925 sterling silver, NOT silver plated.
