I put my jewelry blog on hold over the summer while I got my new site, Silverbeadz, up and running (no small task, that!). In the fall I was busy taking care of some family matters out of town, but now I'm back and hopefully can devote more time to this site and making jewelry.
A couple changes you might have noticed:
If you have been subscribing to the RSS feed for this site, you'll find it doesn't have pictures anymore. That's because the RSS feed also doubles as a Google Products feed, and including images in it caused it not to process. My RSS feed is done completely manually, i.e., I have to enter all the data for it by hand, so it's not an easy process. Having two feeds, one for Google and one just for this site would be out of the question.
The jewelry available here is now also available at my new site, Silverbeadz.com. I also sell sterling silver beads and findings imported from Bali and Thailand there as well. It is set up with a shopping cart system, Zen Cart, which allows me to ship overseas (Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand). The process is a little more involved on this site, eyebalm.com, because it's not a shopping cart and one can't easily choose their country to ship to and have the appropriate shipping charges added.
The new shopping cart system at Silverbeadz.com also allows me to easily have sales, which I can't easily do on this hand-coded site. So if you want to pick up some deals, check out Silverbeadz where there'll frequently be some big savings going on!
